Athletics Day

Today is the Athletics Day for Panmure Bridge School. There were some students from Tamaki College that were helping us with the activities that we were doing. I was in the red team with Zahra, AJ, Calvin and Shannon. We all did our best to win every activities that we did. We all had fun whiling doing those activities. We were all cheering our team, when other people from our team was playing. I had a lot's of fun today.

Te Oro presentation

Today most of the classes from Panmure Bridge School went down to Te Oro. At Te Oro we walked around to see what the other School's had done for Te Taiao O Tamki. Panmure Bridge School first watched performance from our school. Next we went upstairs to look at Glen Innes primary to see what they have done. They had some games to play on their netbook or you can draw some picture that they showed you. The next school that we went to was Tamaki Primary. The Tamaki Primary area had lots of photos about their school and a video about the Tamaki River. Everyone enjoyed watching the performance from our school. 

PBS Care Values

Today LS.2 year 7 and 8 look at some Panmure Bridge care values. We have to get in group of year 8's and 7's. In my group was Magenta, Jorja, Viva, Shannon, Joshua, and Christopher. In our group we have to write what does it mean?, What might it look like in LS2? , and what are out care values?. After that we have to take photos of us doing an example of the C.A.R.E values. The C.A.R.E values stand for Confidence, Attitude, Respect, Excellence and Innovation.

PBS 2016 Collage

 This is about my learning Journey for this year. This is my reflection collage for this year,2016,LS.2 . I have some photos that I have done in this year 2016. Some photo is from sport and some are from my learning in class,at tech and on the playground. One of the things I found challenging this year was learning English and making my sentences make sense. I  really enjoyed was Run, Jump, Throw with Andi in Term 3. I also enjoyed all of the art we has done.

Athletics Day PBS

Today was the athletics day. We played so many games which included a lot of team spirit and sportsmanship. We all helped each other and encouraged everyone on. We played high jump, basketball shoot, netball shoot and shot-put and in the hall we played rob the basket. We also had some helpers from Tamaki college who guided us and helped us play.  The year 7's first played netball/basketball shoot where we had a rotation from our three team's, one team would sit out (and cheered us on) and the two other teams went on the court and shot some balls in the hoops. We all had fun and had so much team spirit in us. I think our team were being very nice and telling me how and what to do.

PBS Cross Country

On Wednesday we did cross country. Room one were girl and then boy then the other class ran. Some people came 1st,2nd and 3rd. Ms Kirpatrick have to call out the years group and then we has to run.  Ms Kirpatrick tell us how many laps we has to run. Year 7 and 8 girl have to run four laps and year 7 and 8 boy have to run four laps too. I try really hard but I came 4th. In my class Mia is the 1st, Mishaan 2nd and Nazella 3rd. Last week we has Cross country to be fit and strong when we are running.
