How to stand up to bullies

Last week LS.2 started looking at how to stand up to bullies at school so that we know what can we do if we see someone bullying someone. If you see someone is bullies someone or someone is getting bulled then  you need to stand up for them and speak out for them. Today Me and Brooklyn have create an Animations on how to stand up to bullies. 

Getting My Excellence and Innovation Badge

Today at Assembly Me and Joshua V earn a badge each. I was getting my Excellence and Innovation Badge and Joshua V was getting Respect. Well done to Joshua V for earning his Respect badge. This is my second CARE award badge that I have.  For next badge I think I am going to work on my Attitude CARE award. Their is only two badges for me to make four badges. I hope I will get all four badges by the end of the year.

Jay-Don, Sanujan and I have created a video about why having a good attitude is important at school. This is about doing something that the teacher hasn't told us to do. It is about picking up rubbish in our school. Picking up rubbish helps our environment become a tidy place. 

Public Health Nurse -Silver Attitude CARE Award

Today I have created a DLO about Public Health Nurse in our school. This is for my Attitude CARE Award. One of my CARE Award tasks was to research the role of a P.H.N in our school. This is a DLO about having a Public Health Nurse in our school. I had to find out what the meaning of PHN in our school is and whats is there role

Care Award - Attitude

This week I have choose to work on my Attitude CARE award. My task was to find, research some with a positive attitude despite difficulties they have faced. The person that I choose was Mary Seacole. I choose her because I think she has a positive attitude despite difficulties I know that because she was a Nurse and injured in the Crimean war. I was working with Jorja and Ma'ata.

Achieving Goal(Care Award)

At the start of the year my goal is to have 50 blog post by term three. Now I have 50 blog post on my blog in term 2. Hopefully I think I can make 500 blog post by the end of the year. I will be posting all work that I have done to make it 500 blog posts. 

Wiremu Tamihana(Care award Excellence and Innovation )

Today I am working on my Excellence Innovation CARE Award. I choose to write about Wiremu Tamihana in my DLO. I choose him because I think he has shown Excellence in his life. I know this because I have been researching about him this week. In my DLO I has wrote down facts about his life and his family. I chose him because he has shown excellence and innovation by helping the Maori people understand English and taking care of them as he was the leader. 

Teaching a group - Confidence CARE Award

A week ago Me Jay-Dan and Joshua are teaching some kids to play a games. .We have decided to choose a games called crocodile. This time I have decided to work on my  Confidence CARE Award.

3 motivational quotes - Poster ( Care Award )

 

For my CARE award I chose to work on Excellence and Innovation. I chose to work on the three motivational quotes posters. The first person that I chose is Abraham Lincoln, the second is Martin Luther King and the last person is Barack Obama.

Transum Timetables

I have been learning  my time tables. I used my time tables on Transum. Transum has lots of fun tasks that I can learn.  I got to learn my time tables in 6 days.  This was for my excellence and innovation care award. 

How to create a DLO about learning(Care Award)

Today I went to room three. When I got their I had a girl named Mckenzy. I worked with her to create a DLO about her learning. First I ask her some question and then I tell her how can she make it right. She tried her best and tell me what she was learning in her classroom. 

Getting My Respect Badge

Today In Assembly a group of people get some care award. I also get my Respect Award too. This was my first Care Award badge. Also great work to people that got a badges. Some people gets Confidence, Attitude and Respect.

My Passion:Sport(Care Award)

This is my passion DLO about sport. In the DLO it have some photo of me doing some sport at school. I also writ down why is sport.  I like because it is fun and you can make new friends in your term. I have write some of the information about Aretha Franklin and when is born and where she from. Aretha Franklin is a American singer. Most of the people like songs. This week for Care Award I write a letter to my teacher  Mrs Anderson. I am writing this letter to my teacher because she help me with lots of thing to learn like in my math group. In my math group Mrs Anderson was my teacher she teach me lots of time table and some other thing.
