PBS 2016 Collage

 This is about my learning Journey for this year. This is my reflection collage for this year,2016,LS.2 . I have some photos that I have done in this year 2016. Some photo is from sport and some are from my learning in class,at tech and on the playground. One of the things I found challenging this year was learning English and making my sentences make sense. I  really enjoyed was Run, Jump, Throw with Andi in Term 3. I also enjoyed all of the art we has done.

Labyrinth

This week we have been looking at a movie name Labyrinth. In my DLO it has some photos of the people that was in the movie and I have also written what was my favorite part and the character.

Rocket

This Friday year's 7 and 8 went to Tamaki College for the rocket that we made last week. Last week we started making our rocket. First finished gluing our rocket. After gluing we all had to get a bit of paper,a bit of tap string then we had to put the paper in the middle of the string using the scissors we had to make the paper curly then tap the paper into the rocket as deep as we can. After that we went started putting the engine into the our rocket. When we finished putting our engine we went outside to fly our rocket. If we are flying our rocket we needs to go in the line. When I fly my rocket it went high and it came down. When my one came down I lost the top and the fins. Everyone were enjoy watching even the teacher. Thanks to Mr Dunn and Ms Ferguson for showing how to make a rocket.

Maths

 

Today we had maths. First we have to chose a number that is on the table then we have to think what goes where. In my DLO it has a photo of me working with Jorja and Lyndon. I worked with Jorja and Lyndon in this activity. 

Rocket

Last week First Friday we went Tamaki College. We went to Tamaki College to make a Rocket. We first started making a straw rocket. This is my DLO for the rocket. I am learning how to make a different rocket. Then we went to have a look at Mr Dunn and Ms Ferguson rocket. We all enjoyed watching the rocket fly.

Tahuna Torea

On Tuesday my class and some of the other class went to Tahuna Torea. We went their by a bus. In my DLO it had some photo what we are doing.I saw lot's of thing in Tahuna Torea. We had a walked.My class also walked on the bridge. We see some birds and some flowers.

Multi modal Reading: Does the kuaka need to undertake such an arduous migratory journey?

This week for reading my class were learning about Kuaka(Godwit). We had to work in our reading groups. We were reading about Kuaka (Godwit). We were learning about the Godwit. We were reading a story about Kuaka and one of the people in our gourp has to be leader and they have to ask us a questions when we have done reading. 

Fair Testing Follow Up @ Tamaki College

 Last week Friday LS2 went to the Tamaki College to make a rocket. I worked with Afu,Charilze,Ma'ata, Breeana and Jorja. Mr Dunn told us what we are going to do on that day. Then we went to have a look at the DLO where we worked on it. Each slide has some information about our results and our predictions.

My Passion:Sport(Care Award)

This is my passion DLO about sport. In the DLO it have some photo of me doing some sport at school. I also writ down why is sport.  I like because it is fun and you can make new friends in your term. There are some photo of me doing some high jump, running and a photo of me playing a basketball with my term.
