Math DLO

Yesterday Me, Maata and Magenta worked to together to get this DLO done. We were  learning to know what is the answer. Our questions was Mama has 12 orange hexagons, how many triangles will she need? We have created a Screencastify about this DLO and I've tell you how to get 50. 

Time table

Today I was learning my 5 time table in Math because I think I need to be more faster when I'm answering the question on 5 time table. In this game you need to put the number as fast as you can. Today I have 18 seconds. I try my best to do as fast as I could in this game. I think I can be faster now.  

Scale Drawings

Last week, LS2 was making enlarged scale drawings. We first had to print a small version of what we wanted to draw, and rule it up into a grid (1 cm x 1 cm). After ruling them up, we got an A3 paper and ruled up the grid but enlarged it by 1 cm so that it were 2 cm x 2 cm. It was very fun but challenging since we didn't always get the picture that we wanted. 

Flex tangle

This week is math week at Panmure Bridges School. On Monday LS.2 started making Flex tangle for math. Frist we started coloring our paper. We had to use warm and cool colour in our Flex tangle. On the paper it have 4 line. Then we have to use the warm colour to colour the first line and then I use the cool colour for the next line. On thing I enjoyed doing this is coloring the paper. Now I have know how to make Flex tangle.

Time table warm ups

Today we math group start with a warm up math called Hit the Button. We were practice our 4 time table. I found finding the answers harder because it is going fasted. If I have some time I well practice my time table so that next time I could get more then 20 in 1 minute.

Multiply by 10x,100x

Today we had math. In math my group is working on our 10 and 100.  In my DLO I have some facts that can help you with your 10 and 100.  I have explained and show you how to work with time table.

E-ako

Today in my math group we start off with E-ako math. For today I was working on my place value. It is a bit hard but I try my best to finish it.

 Today my math group is learning how to solve question. We were solving a question.  The strategy that I use was addition.

In maths my group made a DLO to show the best strategy to use for the question 21 x 15 =.___

 We worked as a group and managed to answer this question by skip counting, adding and using place value.

Hit the Button

Today for math my group have been looking at some math games. For today I play hit the button. When I open it have activities for me to do like time table and other. It was fun learning my math on the this games. In this games I have to click fast as I can then when I get it wrong I have to try again.

E-ako

Today for math my group was working on the E-ako math. In my math I am working on my place value. It was fun learning my math and easy to learn. This was a hard but I try my best to completed.

Place Value Charts

Today I played a new games called Place Value Charts. So in this games it have number it, with the number I have to add them up to make the other number like, 30 + 7 = 37 that what I have to do in this games. It was fun playing this and it also easy it learn.

E-ako Math

Today for math I played a math games called E-ako. E-ako is a site that I learn my time table, fraction, and place value. For today I chose to work on my fractions times for today. To go up I am trying my best so that I can get up to next one.

Today I started playing on E-ako math. E-ako is an a math games that you learn your time table and place value and other things. For today I am working on my place value. Playing on E-ako is fun and great to learn our math too.

Maths in 2017

Today I play Maths games on  Transum. On Transum I played Beat the clock. I have to write down the answer that matches the questions. I started at level 1 and made my way through the other levels. Sometimes I didn't get all the questions right but I tried my best.

Maths

 

Today we had maths. First we have to chose a number that is on the table then we have to think what goes where. In my DLO it has a photo of me working with Jorja and Lyndon. I worked with Jorja and Lyndon in this activity. 

Plane flying in LS.2

Today we had paper plane flying in LS.2.  Our task today was forming a team paper plane and flying it to see how long it can go. Our plane flyer in our team was Gozan (although Thomas was the winner, I think), He did a great job, even if it didn't go all the way. Our learning intention was to make a paper plane that will fly the further est. What I liked about today while making planes was when we worked collaboratively as a team which made me feel very happy and joyful inside. I also liked flying our planes last Thursday out on the balcony.

Math

Today we has math. We are learning about Decimals. We has to color the number in our book and writ what their look like in our book. We has to draw tenths line in our book and color them in our book.  Our learning intention was to find decimals in one place.

Time table Quiz

Today we did the Time table Quiz.  We have a Race. We have to do fast as we could.  I like playing this games because it help me with my time table. It is fun to play. Everyone like playing this games and Everyone have some fun.
